Counting of cells in Man Semen (human)
Control of sterility
With the NucleoCounter SP-100 it is possible to count the total number of sperm cells in human semen after a sterilisation is performed, or to verify male fertility in fertility clinics.
Determination of cell viability
The NucleoCounter SP-100 concept offers determination of cell viability in addition to the total count of cells in the sperm sample. Determination of viability is based on the "PI-exclusion" method and the principle is presented here.
