The NucleoCounter YC-100 can be connected to a PC using the USB port on the rear of the instrument. The USB port of the PC must comply with USB ver. 1.1. The USB port is used for transmision of image data. The so-called "Raw Image" and the "Processed Image" is transferred from the NucleoCounter YC-100 to a PC after the analysis has taken place within the instrument. A special program is required for the PC for performing the image transfer.
The "Raw Image" and the "Processed Image" are presented in one the FAQs for the NucleoCounter, which is presented here.
It must be noted that all calculations, cell counting and data analysis are performed in the NucleoCounter YC-100 Instrument, which is a true stand-alone instrument. |
