The NucleoCounter YC-100 instrument is basically an integrated fluorescense microscope. The enclosure of the instrument contains an aluminium profile which holds all the essentiel parts for the fluorescense microscope and the computing part that performs the image analysis for counting of the yeast cells in the sample. Beside from the fluorescense microscope the instrument also contains a printer port, USB port, DC input voltage port, a Keyboard and a Display. On the front of the instrument a lid covering the cassette insertion is present. |
