The NucleoCounter SCC-100 principle is presented in e.g. the following publications:



NucleoCounter SCC-100 in compliance with IDF 148.
Data collected 2004 during an extensive testing in USA, shows that NucleoCounter SCC-100 is in compliance with IDF 148 requirements to reproducibility and repeatability. Presentation of the data is shown here.

This demonstrates that the NucleoCounter SCC-100 is suitable for use in Central Laboratories for Milk Analysis. For instance this allows a central laboratory to produce pilot samples with accurate SCC values for daily check of a routine SCC analyzer.

NucleoCounter SCC-100 tested at AIA-LSL in Rome, Italy.
Silvia Orlandini from A.I.A. Laboratorio Standard Latte performed a preliminary test of the NucleoCounter SCC-100 according to the provisional version of the ICAR protocol: "Protocol for the evaluation of milk analysers for ICAR approval" dated January 2002.
