Coulter counter
The NucleoCounter is a good alternative to the Coulter Counter when total cell count and viability is to be determined. The NucleoCounter instrument is an integrated fluorescence microscope designed to detect signals from the fluorescent dye, propidium iodide (PI) bound to DNA.
The NucleoCounter is a specific cell counter and not a particle counter. The counting is easy, fast (30 sec.) calibration free, maintenance free, service free and requires no cleaning. And yet it is accurate with a very high repeatability.
