Viability of sperm
The NucleoCounter SP-100 offers an automatic total sperm count and viability estimate (membrane integrity in semen samples. The method is easy, fast, calibration free, maintenance free, and requires no cleaning. The viability of the sperm cell can be estimated in semen samples from bulls, boars, stallions, rabbits and other mammals in both ejaculates, extended doses and straws. Egg yolk or milk in the extender does not interfere with the measurements.
