NucleoCounter® SP-100™ Reagents

To determine the total amount of sperm cells in a sample, the use of Reagent S100 is necessary.

Reagent S100 is used to disrupt the plasma membranes of the sperm cells, rendering the nuclei susceptible to staining with propidium iodide (PI).
