NucleoCounter® SCC-100™ Reagents

To determine the number of somatic cells in a milk sample, the use of Reagent C is necessary.

Reagent C, is used to disrupt the plasma membranes of the somatic cells, rendering the nuclei susceptible to staining with propidium iodide (PI).
