Founded in 1997, ChemoMetec A/S has expanded rapidly and further growth is envisioned in the near future. Today, ChemoMetec works closely with hospitals, research institutes and universities in order to maintain focus on recent developments and customer needs. The goal is to establish a solid strategic foundation through extensive patenting of the ChemoMetec's core technologies.
ChemoMetec entered into its first development contract with a large international company in 1998. A second major contract was finalised in 2000 with product launch in 2002. ChemoMetec introduced the NucleoCountr® family, with applications in the field of cell counting for biotechnology, food industry and beverages. In 2009 the second generation of the NucleoCounter family was introduced in the market with NC-3000™.
In 2002 ChemoMetec moved to its present premises in Allerød, with well-equipped offices and laboratories. Allerød is a city located northwest of Copenhagen. The offices are within 40 minutes drive from Copenhagen Airport at Kastrup.
